The FAVsc is the first Visual Arts Festival in the city of Santa Coloma de Gramanet, from the Barcelonés.
We created a corporate identity and a direct, fun advertising campaign, creating a direct relationship between art, the city and young people.

As a final career project, I developed FAVsc Festival, a contemporary arts festival in the city of Santa Coloma de Gramanet.
It’s a urban festival, close to the audience, where almost all the artistic content is created by young local artists who perform on the streets, close to people. To achieve this, a groundbreaking and vibrant visual identity is created, inspired by graffiti and paste-up art.
The project was developed closely with a local association for young artists in the city. With their goals in mind, we developed the activities skeleton, proposing many scenarios where people on the street could interact with the artists. With this in mind we developed the graphics around the project, that needed to be simple, direct, but fun. The youth of the city isn’t interested in traditional art but in those that emerge: for example street art, pasteup, graffitis and more. Taking these as inspiration, we developed four key visuals elements that repeat themselves.
In terms of advertisement, we wanted to bring the coloquial language of the city to a fun interactive experience. We developed fun sentences that relate to places, scenarios or situations that happen in the city, added to a sticker support, to invite people become their own artists.
In the end we ended up constructing a visual system so that they could reevaluate and continue with many more editions of the festival, focusing on a specific topic each year (like sustainability, social fights, the city, etc).
